Inspired by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin — “The future is in the hands of those who can give tomorrow’s generations valid reasons to live and hope” — Fred founded Inspire Spaces in 2013. He previously worked as Research and Evaluations Associate at the Rees-Jones Foundation and spent nine years as Youth & College Director in Dallas with a strong focus on mentorship and developing young leaders. He holds an MBA in International Business from Dallas Baptist University and serves on the Alumni Board there.

A lifelong student leader, Joan served at SAMBICA summer camp in Seattle and as a facilitator at Camp Winning Ways. A Movement Day Scholar in the 2021 Africa Cohort, she also participated in the LEAP leadership program with exchanges in Oranienburg, Germany and Memphis, Tennessee. She holds a BSc in Hospitality and Management from Kenyatta University. Her simple belief: real growth happens in the unscripted conversation that lingers after the session ends.

Caro embodies the transformative impact of the programs she now helps deliver. From her early days as an Inspire Spaces beneficiary at St. Bhakita Girls High School in 2015, her journey is a testament to determination and perseverance. A graduate of Cooperative University in Community Development and Social Work, her work is rooted in the knowledge that small interventions, real relationships, and consistent presence change trajectories.

Caleb trained as a biochemist at the Technical University of Kenya, studying variables that change an entire outcome. He now applies that same eye to people, designing curriculum, running trainings, and building teams. What began as a volunteer journey in 2022 became a defined discipline he calls his “lab of life,” crafting every session with love and intention to help scholars become the best version of themselves.

Sandra believes every organization is carrying a story worth telling, and her gift is finding the version that draws people in, whether on the page or on screen. She holds a degree in Communication and Public Relations from Moi University and joined Inspire Spaces first as a volunteer trainer, showing up with the same care and dedication long before she joined the staff team. Her focus has not changed: amplify the voices that deserve to be heard.

Clinton’s joy is rooted in helping people see themselves clearly through the lens he holds up to them. As an Inspire Spaces scholar himself, he knows the power of well-crafted stories, and that knowledge drives his work. Studying Film and Media at Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, he documents the journeys of his fellows — the growth, the setbacks, and the small wins that rarely make headlines. His films have traveled well beyond Kenya.

Ivy’s journey with Inspire Spaces began as a trainer, where she developed a deep connection to the organization’s mission and the people it serves. She has since grown into a finance role, bringing that same passion to the stewardship of the organization’s resources. With a background in Financial Engineering from Strathmore University, Ivy believes that every coin entrusted to an organization carries a purpose. She brings care, accountability, and curiosity to her work, committed to ensuring that resources are well stewarded and ultimately contribute to meaningful impact.
